Meet Your Teacher
I founded LJSOD in 2017 with a simple belief: that every child and adult deserves access to dance that is joyful, technically excellent and genuinely inclusive. My mission is simple - to create a community where your best is enough, and where that best keeps growing.
As a qualified adjudicator and certified instructor across multiple disciplines, I still demonstrate every technique and routine I teach - from the smallest footwork detail to full competition choreography. My competing days are behind me, but dance never is. I bring real performance experience and competitive insight to every session, now channelled entirely into developing the next generation of dancers.

What Parents Say
"I couldn't recommend Lowri Jones School of Dance enough. My daughter joined Royals when she was just 6 years old and absolutely loved it from day one. Over the years, we've watched her confidence grow so much, and she's had some amazing opportunities to perform at events including the In It Together Festival and Wales v Fiji rugby in Cardiff.
Her love for dance has grown so much that she wanted to take on more classes, including Aerial Hoop and Beginner Acro. The skills she has developed through these classes have been incredible - she has gained so much strength, flexibility, confidence and determination.
She was then invited to join the competition team, and that's when we truly understood what it means to be part of a dance family. The dancers are incredibly friendly, supportive and talented, and she has made wonderful friendships with children of all ages.
Lowri always goes above and beyond, whether it's through classes, performances or the fantastic holiday camps. The variety of themes and activities means my daughter absolutely loves them, and they're a huge help for families during the school holidays.
The school has made such a positive difference to our daughter's life and to us as a family. It has been one of the best decisions we've ever made. I also love that as the dancers grow up, they have opportunities to help teach and inspire the younger children.
There really is something for everyone, from dance and acrobatics to adult classes, all at an affordable price. Lowri is truly a diamond in our community, and we are so grateful for everything she has done for our daughter and our family.
Simply amazing - we couldn't recommend Lowri Jones School of Dance more!"

What Parents Say
"My daughter has been part of Lowri Jones School of Dance for over four years and has had the privilege of being taught by Lowri across a range of different classes. We started with Minis, before progressing into Beginner Acro, Aerial Hoop and Technique classes. It quickly became clear that her love for dance was growing, and she was always excited to take on new opportunities.
One of the most special opportunities came when Lowri asked if she would like to try competitive freestyle dance. To this day, we are so thankful that she was given that chance. The confidence and personal growth we have seen in our daughter since joining the competition team has been incredible.
The time, dedication and support that Lowri gives to every dancer is second to none. She encourages them to dream big, believe in themselves and work hard to achieve their goals. Through dance, my daughter has gained a second family and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. It is also wonderful to see the older dancers supporting and encouraging the younger ones, becoming the kind of positive role models you hope your child will look up to.
The school provides so many amazing opportunities, from performing in front of hundreds and sometimes thousands of people, to taking dance exams and celebrating achievements at a dedicated awards ceremony where every dancer gets their moment to shine. Lowri also goes above and beyond during the school holidays, organising dance camps, activities, trips and the annual sleepover, ensuring there is something for children of all ages to enjoy.
As a parent, I've also had the opportunity to experience Lowri's teaching through her adult Step classes. They are fun, welcoming and completely pressure-free - and it's easy to see why the dancers love her so much as a teacher.
Without Lowri Jones School of Dance, and the support and encouragement Lowri has given my daughter, she would not be the confident, outgoing little girl she is today. We are incredibly proud to be part of this wonderful dance family and can't wait to see what the future holds for all of the dancers."
